Pearl bead trim, 4" length of each: pearl string; dangling
pearls
Ribbon rose, color of choice, 3/8"
Fine-gauge craft wire
Cardboard, 5" x 7-1/2"
Ruler
Scissors
Wire cutters
Thick, white craft glue

White rayon crochet thread
Pink felt scrap
Pom poms: 5mm pink, one; 8mm white, two
Ribbon: white, 1/2" x 1/3 yd.; color of choice, 5/8" x
1/4 yd.

Yellow rayon crochet thread
Felt scraps: orange; pink
Yellow down feathers
Ribbon, color of choice, 1/4" x 1/4 yd.
| INSTRUCTIONS
for Easter Tassels: |
| Tassels: |
| 1.
Wrap crochet thread 150 times around cardboard so tassel measures
5" long. |
| 2.
Cut 8" length from remaining thread for hanger. Center hanger
thread under wrapped thread at top edge of cardboard; tie a
knot. Knot hanger ends together. |
| 3.
Slide wrapped thread from cardboard. Cut loops opposite tied
end. |
| 4.
For head, center foam ball under tied area of tassel so thread
completely and evenly covers ball. Tightly wrap wire around
tassel below head. Twist wire ends to secure; cut excess. |
| 5.
Use photo as guide to glue dangling pearl trim, then pearl string,
around neck. |

| 1.
For ears, cut white ribbon into four 3" lengths. Glue two ribbon
lengths together for each ear, wrong sides together; let glue
dry. Trim one end of each ear to gentle point. Fold bottom 1/2"
of each ear back to make tab; glue tabs to top of head. |
| 2.
Use photo as guide to glue bead eyes, pink pom pom nose, and
white pom pom muzzle to head. |
| 3.
Cut tiny quarter-circle from pink felt for mouth; glue to head
below muzzle. |
| 4.
Tie remaining ribbon into bow; glue to top of head. Glue ribbon
rose to bow. |

| 1.
Glue bead eyes to head. |
| 2.
Cut small diamond shape from orange felt for beak. Fold diamond
in half; glue fold to head about 1/4" below eyes. |
| 3.
Cut two small circles from pink felt for cheeks; glue to head. |
| 4.
Glue feathers to top of head and around neck. |
| 5.
Tie ribbon into bow; glue to top of head. Glue ribbon rose to
bow. |
